General Terms and Conditions
Effective from: January 7, 2026 until withdrawal
1. Data of the Service Provider
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) contain the conditions for using the tour guide and tourism services available on the budapestpersonalguide.com website operated by Zsuzsa Héjja Sole Proprietor (hereinafter: Service Provider).

2. Subject of the Service
The Service Provider offers personalized, private tour guide services, sightseeing tours, and related tourism programs in Budapest and its surroundings through the Website. Detailed descriptions are available on the Website.
3. Conclusion of Contract
3.1. Services can be ordered by filling out the booking form, via e-mail, or telephone consultation.
3.2. The contract is concluded when the Service Provider confirms the Client's request in writing (e-mail), and the parties agree on the date, content, and fee.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1. Fees are indicated on the Website or in a specific price offer. Prices do not include VAT (AAM status - 0% VAT).
4.2. Payment methods: Cash on site, Bank transfer, or Online bank card payment (Stripe).
5. Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellation: In case of cancellation 48 hours prior to the start time of the tour, the Client has no payment obligation. (Prepayments will be refunded).
Penalty: If cancellation occurs within 1 month, or in case of a "no-show", the Service Provider is entitled to claim 50% of the service fee as a penalty, if it occurs within 1 week then 100% of the fee it goes to the Service Provider.
6. Liability
The Service Provider ensures high-quality tours but cannot accept liability for physical safety or personal property (e.g., accidents, theft). Participation is at one's own risk.
7. Complaint Handling
Complaints may be submitted to info@budapestpersonalguide.com. The Service Provider will respond within 30 days.
8. Closing Provisions
For issues not regulated here, Hungarian laws (Ptk.) shall apply.
